As They Say in DisneyWorld...Let the Memories Begin!!!

Before leaving home, Kayli discovers a package on the front porch, addressed to her, from the "Disney Princesses!" She was thrilled with her special "Sleeping Beauty Doll" that was chosen just for her because she and Princess Aurora have so much in common...both have 3 godmothers, both have "Rose" in their names, both just had birthdays, and both are so pretty in pink! The package came with a special invitation from the Disney Princesses requesting the presence of Kayli at a royal dinner in DisneyWorld where they would be happy to help her continue celebrating her 6th birthday! She was soooo excited!
Thanks to Casey, we had some FABULOUS, melt-in-your-mouth, candy-coated "princess puff-popcorn" for the trip, and oooh it was soooo yummy!
We arrived after 7 p.m., and by the time we got something to eat, suitcases delivered, etc. it was late, we were tired, then we had to push our clocks forward and lose an hour of sleep, and I was still tired in the morning but decided we should get up so we could get to the Magic Kingdom for the grand opening. Unbeknowns to me, though, they opened an hour early on Sunday, and so we could have slept in after all! Oh well, we were "off and running" and I can't believe how much we managed to do in one day, ending with the grand nighttime electric parade, and the amazing fireworks, over the castle! (Jayne, we stood in front of the Rose Garden and had a perfect view of Tinkerbell, when she flew out the castle window and over our heads!)
The lady told Kayli to make a wish while she sprinkled pixie dust on her head...
We took a mid-day pool and lunch break, back at the hotel...
Kayli was in "heaven" splashing in the pool! I was in "heaven" with the hot sun shining down on us through the palm trees!

Then, after changing clothes, it was back to the Magic Kingdom for dinner with "Pooh and Friends"...

Pooh is holding Kayli's stuffed "baby pooh" that she brought along to show him...
Piglet decided to try on Kayli's "piglet snap bracelet" that just cracked her up...

Then all the kids joined in on the "Tigger parade" as they marched around the restaurant...
They brought Kayli a cupcake with a candle, and a birthday card signed by all the Winnie the Pooh Characters...
The magic carpet ride was even more fun than the flying Dumbo!
and, now that it's dark, let the light parade begin...
the fireworks over the castle were awesome!
and, now, my sweet pea, it's time for us both to get some sleep, there'll be more fun tomorrow!
